Funnily enough, stories were told of how some smaller tribes in Australia had meetings in the past, and they unanimously got rid of their get their local languages and forbade anyone who spoke them. As the story goes, they collectively chose English as their one and only language.

So, your language fears as allayed outright as you don’t have to enroll in any language class just to cope in the country you wish to visit. To travel to Australia, you must have a visa.
