It's the best University in Canada and Top 10 in the world for number of majors. There are various fortune 500 companies which employ most of the CS graduates. Numerous US banks have opened their development center in Montreal (like Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs..).

For admission to University of British Columbia (Computer Science): Application & Documents Deadline: December 15. GRE is NOT required. Score from one of the exam TOEFL/IELTS/PTE/MELAB/CAEL is required (there is a minimum required score for each exam) from students of countries where native English is not primary language. Min. score required for TOEFL is 100.

McGill University (CS) : All Ph.D. students and most of Masters students are funded either through personal scholarships, McGill scholarships, research assistantships, or teaching assistantships (Montreal is a nice place to live!). GRE is required for all students who have not completed a degree in Canada. The School of Computer Science currently stands second in Canada for its research funding.
